BeInCrypto Joins Opera to Put Digital Finance News Where Readers Already Are

BeInCrypto is partnering with Opera to bring its digital finance coverage directly into the browser’s AI-driven content ecosystem, putting selected stories in front of Opera’s global audience of more than 296 million monthly active users.

Through Opera’s recommendation cards, BeInCrypto articles will appear on Opera’s homepage and within Opera’s articles, turning news discovery into something closer to a personalized feed than a traditional visit to a publisher’s website.

BeInCrypto Is Moving Into the Recommendation Era

For publishers, the shift is hard to miss. The homepage is no longer the unquestioned front door to the internet, with audiences increasingly encountering news through algorithmic feeds, browser integrations, social platforms and video.

BeInCrypto says its Opera integration is designed around that change: meeting readers inside the digital environments they already use rather than relying on them to visit a specific domain whenever they want an update.

The move follows a broader refresh of BeInCrypto’s homepage and article experience in April, when the publisher added new video and social features aimed at making discovery and consumption more immediate.

That strategy reflects a wider transformation in how people consume news. According to the Reuters Institute’s Digital News Report published in June 2026, video news consumption increased from 67% in 2020 to 77% in 2026. Social video rose from 52% to 69% over the same period.

The larger shift is even more striking. Social media and video networks have now become the world’s most-used source for news, at 54%, compared with 51% for news organizations’ own websites and apps.

For BeInCrypto, the Opera partnership is therefore less about adding another distribution channel and more about following the audience into a different kind of internet — one where the story increasingly arrives before the reader thinks to search for it.

“Since we overhauled our homepage infrastructure in April, the shift from active searching to algorithmic, seamless news discovery has only accelerated,” says Vlada Morhunova, Product Manager at BeInCrypto.

“Audiences expect relevant financial insights to find them natively within their daily digital habits. Our integration with Opera is the logical next step in that evolution, moving our journalism beyond our own domain and straight into the user’s workflow.”

The result is a quieter kind of change, but one with broad implications for digital publishing. BeInCrypto is betting that the next generation of news discovery will happen less through direct traffic and more through the interfaces people already spend their time navigating.

Readers can still access BeInCrypto’s latest coverage through its own website, while Opera becomes another place where those stories can surface organically.

The partnership also underscores how publishers are adapting to a media environment in which distribution is increasingly intertwined with recommendation technology. News is no longer just something a reader seeks out; increasingly, it is something software decides to place in front of them.

BeInCrypto is part of BeInNews Academy Ltd., an independent media group covering finance and digital assets through its newsroom, research reports, events, expert network and multimedia studio.
