The second check validates that a specific loan genuinely belongs in the designated pool. Every Black Lake pool is anchored onchain and represented by a permissioned marker. Harbor Verify reconstructs the pool’s Merkle commitments to verify the loan’s inclusion, confirming that no unauthorized additions, removals, or substitutions have occurred.
It also verifies a zero-knowledge proof, which cryptographically confirms the loan met all stated eligibility requirements without revealing specific details about the borrower. If any check fails, the tool precisely identifies the step and value that didn’t match, providing clear, actionable feedback to reviewers.
