Tokenized U.S. Stocks Are Coming to Bitget Wallet With 1,700 Assets

Tokenized U.S. stocks are moving into Bitget Wallet, giving the self-custodial app a much larger menu of Wall Street assets without asking users to hand over their private keys.

Starting Sept. 15, Bitget Wallet will list Reality’s rTokens on Arbitrum and Morph. The rollout adds Reality as the third tokenized-equity issuer available through the wallet, alongside Ondo and xStocks.

The scale is hard to miss. Reality is bringing more than 1,700 tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds to the platform, while Bitget Wallet says its user base exceeds 100 million people.

That makes the integration notable beyond the asset count. For users who want exposure to U.S. markets but would rather keep assets inside a crypto wallet, the traditional brokerage account is no longer the only route being offered.

Tokenized U.S. Stocks Find a New Home in Self-Custody

The relationship also has an interesting corporate wrinkle: Reality is part of the Bitget ecosystem, meaning the wallet is distributing tokenized assets issued by a company within its own broader group.

“Most users globally have had no viable path to U.S. equity exposure, not because of lack of demand, but because the infrastructure was either inaccessible or required giving up custody,” said Alvin Kan, chief operating officer of Bitget Wallet. “Reality’s model is different: real shares, real liquidity, real dividends, and users keep control of their keys throughout.”

Behind each rToken is an actual U.S. share held through Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer. Reality says the reserves are attested daily by The Network Firm.

The system is also designed to lean on traditional markets when they are open. During U.S. trading hours, Reality routes orders toward liquidity on Nasdaq and NYSE instead of relying exclusively on onchain pools.

Among the available products are tokenized versions of Nvidia, Tesla, Apple and Amazon shares, as well as the SPDR S&P 500 ETF and Invesco QQQ. Their tickers include rNVDA, rTSLA, rAAPL, rAMZN, rSPY and rQQQ.

There are important restrictions, however. Reality describes rTokens as unregistered securities available only to eligible non-U.S. users in permitted jurisdictions. Its FAQ also says the products are generally unavailable to U.S. persons.

For eligible holders, dividends are distributed in stablecoins. Bitget’s FAQ says cash dividends are credited after a 30% tax deduction and automatically converted into USDT. Corporate actions such as stock splits are handled automatically as well.

Trading is available 24 hours a day, five days a week, with 90 rTokens also available on weekends. Because the assets can interact with decentralized finance applications, they can also be used as collateral.

Alice Li, Reality’s head of the company, framed the broader ambition around infrastructure rather than another standalone trading venue.

“Through an open API, wallets, exchanges and protocols can connect directly to rToken liquidity and bring US equity exposure to their users without building the underlying infrastructure from scratch,” said Alice Li, head of Reality. “That is how tokenized equities start to scale beyond individual platforms.”

The move comes as tokenized stocks are expanding across the crypto market. Ondo now offers more than 430 assets across three chains and supplies Trust Wallet’s tokenized-stock offering, while the broader sector has reached $2.3 billion in value.

Bitget has also already experienced one of the category’s growing pains. The company was among the venues that cancelled tokenized SpaceX allocations after xStocks did not deliver the underlying shares.

Bitget’s own BGB token traded at $1.93 on Sept. 14, down 1.3% over 24 hours and 3.6% over seven days, giving it a market value of roughly $1.35 billion, according to CoinGecko.

For now, the Reality integration points to a very specific direction for tokenized U.S. stocks: less separation between the brokerage world and the wallet sitting on a user’s phone. The appeal is not simply putting familiar tickers onchain, but combining access to traditional securities with crypto-native custody, liquidity and DeFi functionality.
